Sacred Heart Hospital (Roscommon)
The Sacred Heart Hospital is a state-run nursing home in Ireland, located just outside of Roscommon town.
The structure was built in the 1840s as a workhouse for the poor of the region.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=RO®no=31817052 )〕 It was later converted for use as a tuberculosis hospital and as a mental home, and eventually used for rehabilitative services and care of the elderly.
